Featured on SHEmpower Global, in connection with the women empowerment vision of SheSplash Community, Dr. Darcell L. Streeter represents inclusive learning and women’s leadership as a learning scientist, global keynote speaker and nonprofit CEO.
Across adult education, AI research and nonprofit leadership, Dr. Darcell L. Streeter keeps people’s experiences central to how learning is designed.
Who Is Learning Designed For?
A learning system can introduce new technology and still leave people out. Dr. Darcell L. Streeter’s work begins with the people such systems are meant to serve: adults whose languages, generations and lived experiences differ.
Her doctoral research, with an Ed.D. in progress, connects generative AI with culturally responsive pedagogy and design. She examines how emerging technology can support multilingual, multigenerational and underserved adult learners without erasing their humanity.
That focus gives her September 2026 feature its central question: how can innovation expand opportunity while respecting the people learning within it? Her work brings human development into the conversation about what educational progress should look like.
Connecting Learning With Everyday Opportunity
As CEO of The Women’s Circle, Inc., Dr. Streeter carries forward a nonprofit’s 25-year legacy of serving adult learners. Through Circle Forward™, the Global Life & Learning Hub, she connects intergenerational education, health literacy, workforce development and adult English language learning.
Bringing these areas together reflects the different needs adults may carry into a learning environment. Education is connected to work, communication and the ability to navigate everyday life.
At the Florida Literacy Council State Conference, she presented on integrating literacy, workforce and human services systems. Her contribution drew on hands-on experience designing adult literacy and English-language programs, connecting practical work with a wider discussion among education leaders.
Building Organizations Around Human Development
Dr. Streeter founded B.HER™ Global and Positive Images Consulting, extending her work across women’s leadership and organizational learning. Positive Images Consulting has served corporations, nonprofits and community-based organizations since 2005.
She is a Certified Nonprofit Executive through Florida State University’s Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship. Earlier senior leadership experience in development and alumni relations also informs her work building mission-driven organizations.
Her speaking engagements have taken her to Bangkok, Paris and Chicago, alongside virtual audiences in the United States and abroad. Across these settings, her work connects learning, leadership and the conditions that allow people to develop.
Leadership With Room to Pause
As host of Power of the Pause on Women Thrive Media, Dr. Streeter explores rest and what it means to lead from wholeness rather than hurry.
Her writing develops these interests further. She is the author of the Softness as a Superpower™ series, Reflections of Becoming HER and Prompt With Purpose. Together, these subjects connect personal reflection with leadership and the thoughtful use of emerging tools.
In a profile spanning AI research, adult education and nonprofit leadership, the invitation to pause has a clear place. It asks leaders to consider their own humanity alongside the needs of the people they serve.
